How The Ford Roadside Assistance Program Works

Mainly available through your Ford model’s warranty, you can contact the Ford Roadside Service Program hotline by calling 1-800-241-3673. Owners of Ford models that are 2007 or newer are covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles (whichever one comes first), while the owners of Ford models that are 2006 and older are covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever one comes first). Don’t have any more warranty coverage? No problem! If you need the Ford Roadside Assistance Program, you can use a credit card to pay a one-time fee for the service you need. The services available through the Ford Roadside Assistance Program are:

  • Towing: If your Ford model is disabled and unable to move, Ford Roadside Assistance Program representatives will tow it to the nearest qualified Ford dealership within 35 miles.   • Battery Jump Start: If your battery loses its charge and suddenly dies, don’t panic. Just call the Ford Roadside Assistance Program hotline at 1-800-241-3673 and a representative will be out to give you a jump start as quickly as possible.
  • Changing Your Flat Tire: Experiencing a flat tire and not sure how to change it? A Ford Roadside Assistance representative will mount your spare tire for you.
  • Fuel Delivery: Whenever your gas tank is running low and your fuel gauge is in the red, simply pull over to the side of the road and call the Ford Roadside Assistance Program hotline. A Ford representative will bring you up to two gallons of gasoline or up to five gallons of diesel fuel so that you can make it to the nearest gas station.
  • Lock Out Assistance: Locking yourself out of your Ford model is bound to happen eventually. Through this amazing program, you can expect a Ford representative to unlock your vehicle for you (this does not include the cost of making a spare key).
