In a partnership aimed at combating childhood hunger in Greater Baltimore, Baltimore Ravens Safety Kyle Hamilton and Preston Automotive Group have teamed up with Blessings in a Backpack, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing weekend food for children in need. This collaboration not only raises awareness but also provides essential support to ensure that kids who might otherwise go hungry have access to nutritious meals.

For the 2023-2024 football season, Preston Automotive Group pledged to donate $141 to Blessings in a Backpack for every tackle made by Hamilton. This generous contribution amounted to over $13,783 donated to Blessings in a Backpack by the end of the season, which will go on to feed over 100 kids on weekends during the 2024-2025 school year.
The impact of this partnership extends beyond financial support. As prominent figures in the community, Hamilton and Preston Automotive Group are committed to making a significant difference in the lives of local children. In the previous football season, their collaboration supported 75 children in the Blessings in a Backpack program, with a donation of $9,940.

To celebrate their collective efforts, Hamilton and Preston Automotive Group recently visited the Brooklyn O’Malley Boys & Girls Club on Tuesday, May 21st. There, they spent quality time with the children and presented a check to support the Blessings in a Backpack program.
Rob Childs, Chief Marketing Officer at Preston Automotive Group, emphasized Hamilton’s exemplary character, stating, “Kyle Hamilton is an exceptional individual who embodies the values of our company.”

Chris Marks, Chief Operating Officer at Preston Automotive Group, expressed their pride in supporting the Baltimore area and the mission of Blessings in a Backpack. Marks added, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Kyle on this initiative.”
Childhood hunger has far-reaching consequences, impacting not only physical health but also emotional and cognitive development. Beth Bush, director of athletic & strategic partnerships at Blessings in a Backpack, highlighted the severity of the issue, stating, “Kids can’t be kids when they’re hungry.” She expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Preston Automotive Group and emphasized the importance of preventing weekend hunger to create a healthier future for Baltimore-area children.
